Older mesh tears easier
Pressure washing can expose weak panels that were already near failure. Strong spray near edges and corners may loosen spline or tear brittle mesh.
Check after cleaning
After washing a pool cage, inspect lower panels, corners, door screens, and roof panels. Small edge tears can spread if ignored.
When to call for repair
If pressure washing created several tears, ask whether the mesh is aging out and whether a full rescreen makes sense.
